Chris joined our sister nursery the Forbury Gardens Day Nursery in September 2017 as Deputy Room Leader in the pre-school room. Chris after a year was promoted to Senior Nursery Nurse from September 2018 liaising with management team whilst running a room too. Chris joined Waingels Gardens Day Nursery in September 2019 as Acting Manager, covering maternity and has now been confirmed as the full time manager from March 2020. Chris previously worked in school nurseries and reception classes with 3-5 year olds and qualified with his level 3, nine years ago. Chris holds a Level 4 Diploma in Childcare and is an Early Years Advanced Practitioner, since May 2012. Chris has completed training in First Aid, Safeguarding level 3, food hygiene and health and safety level 2, having a more in-depth knowledge of these subjects. Chris has a hands-on role within the Nursery supporting and mentoring the staff to maintain high standards of care.
